Architecture Matters: Designing for Well-Being
On Tuesday, October 8th, the AIA Pittsburgh Chapter hosted Architecture Matters: Designing for Well-Being at Patterns of Meaning. The event brought together over 60 professionals from various fields, including architecture, landscape architecture, city planning, academia, and community leadership. The evening featured an international panel discussion focused on the impact of architectural design on health and well-being. Architects and planners from Pittsburgh and Sweden shared their perspectives on how the design of our places and spaces can significantly influence our daily lives.
A reception was held before the panel discussion, allowing attendees to network and connect with fellow professionals. The evening was a resounding success, thanks to the insightful presentations, thought-provoking discussions, and the enthusiastic participation of all attendees.
Architecture Matters was made possible by a collaboration between the Pittsburgh Platform and AIA Pittsburgh in partnership with STHLMNYC, the Consulate General of Sweden, Architects Sweden, and the Swedish Institute.
Patterns of Meaning welcomes opportunities to collaborate with organizations such as the AIA to foster new ideas and drive innovation.
