Large Scale Abstract Oil Paintings
Mia Tarducci is the artist behind the large-scale, colorful abstract paintings in the Patterns of Meaning Collection. Born in Newport, Rhode Island in a family where creativity was encouraged and celebrated provided the perfect backdrop for Mia's artistic development.
Jurors from institutions such as MoMA, the Guggenheim, and the Carnegie Museum have recognized her work. Her accolades include being named Pittsburgh Center for the Arts Emerging Artist of the Year in 2014 and receiving the Leon A. Argus Award at the Carnegie Museum of Art's Annual Exhibition in 2016.
Beyond these institutions, Mia's work graces private homes and corporate collections around the world. Her work has also been featured in many publications, including New American Paintings, Studio Visit Magazine, and American Art Collector.
