Patterns of Meaning will open The Shop, a new gallery space at SouthSide Works in Pittsburgh, this month. Located at 2708 Sidney Street, The Shop will feature original work by the five contributing Patterns artists and offer a new way for visitors to experience the project’s connection between art, industrial history, and contemporary making.

The Shop at SouthSide Works will feature original work by Patterns of Meaning artists.
SouthSide Works sits on the site of a former LTV Steel mill, making it a fitting home for The Shop, rooted in Pittsburgh’s industrial materials, artistic transformation, and the enduring story of making.
The space will open first with a private reception on May 16, followed by a public Grand Opening on May 23.
Regular gallery hours and appointment details will be announced soon.
