Patterns of Meaning Hosts NFFS Innovation Summit Welcome Reception

Patterns of Meaning Hosts NFFS Innovation Summit Welcome Reception

On July 22, Patterns of Meaning hosted the welcome reception for the Non-Ferrous Founders' Society's 2026 Innovation Summit at our studio in the Energy Innovation Center.  This year's summit ran July 22-23 in Pittsburgh, with the main program held the next day at Gecko Robotics. The theme was "Practical Solutions for Everyday Foundry Operations."

Foundry operators, suppliers, and industry professionals from around the country attended the reception, which was held among the historic foundry patterns and blueprints in our collection. The reception was sponsored by Henderson Brothers.

This wasn't the first connection between Patterns of Meaning and NFFS. In January, Cory Bonnet presented to the NFFS Training and Professional Development Cohort about the collection and its history.

Our thanks to NFFS and Henderson Brothers for the evening.
